About Studio Xian

In an one hour class of 4-9 (elementry to middle school), students will have fun, foster their creativity, and learn and develop the fundamentals of art at a beginners to novice level. They will have opportunities and guidance to even win art awards in the national level! Everyone starts off using prismacolor pastels and will work on their own creative projects. As students build your skills in pastels, they can move on to learn sketching and acrylic painting! This is a creative class where students can make anything their creativity takes them as long as it is respectful and appropriate (animals, objects, landscape scenery, etc.). 

REQUIREMENTS:

1) students must bring their own materials (I will provide a list once you are scheduled for a class ;))

1) Learn the fundamentals of art (basic shapes, color, etc.)

2) foster creativity

3) Opportunities and guidance to win national level competitions

4) develope skills in pastel, painting, and sketching!

5) complete and create full colored and rendered art pieces

6) most importantly! have lots of fun!
